Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira was born on May 26, 1978 in Campinas Sao Paulo, Brazil. She was in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (2000). Ana Paula Oliveira was appointed as a member of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime in March 2020. She runs Assassination Witness in addition to being part of the GI-TOC the multilateral team. She focuses her research on the illegal economy, assassinations and disappearances. The research area she is interested in is the effect of organized crime on policy, law and laws pertaining to human rights. Ana Paula holds an LL.M the cum laude of International Law by the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. She has obtained an LL.M. qualification on Public Law as well an MBA from Fundacao Getulio Vargas, Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula is a graduate of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro with the degree of magnacum laude at the level of Legal as well as Social Sciences. She is a licensed lawyer and has worked in an attorney firm that specialized in litigating in the public sector for more than four years. The past experience she has had also involved assisting roles at non-governmental organizations with their headquarters within Rio de Janeiro and Geneva.
