Alanis Morissette

Alanis Nadine was born on the 1st of June 1974. Her birthplace was Ottawa, Canada. Alanis' Greek is a male version of the surname Alan's father had. Her siblings are Chad (Alanis Twin) and Wade. At age 6 she began to play the piano. After that, she was 21 and her first guitar lesson, she was a musician. In 1986 Alanis released a single titled Fate Stay with me (b-side: Find The Right Man). Within Canada, Alanis recorded two dance-pop records: Alanis (in 1991) and the album Now Is The Time in 1992. When she was 18, she relocated to Toronto and worked with several singers and musicians, but the partnerships didn't go as planned. Glen Ballard was the producer/songwriter she picked in the year 1994. Glen was previously associated alongside Aretha Frankin, Michael Jackson and Barbra Strreisand. She moved to LA when she was 19. Madonna's Maverick Records released the song "Jagged Little Pill" on June 13th, 1995. Alanis was able to find an autobiographical, extremely personal technique for writing songs. JLP is the third-highest-seller album ever and has been purchased 30 million times all over the world. It was a time of intense emotion-driven conflict (she even considered not recording an album) and took a tour in India. Alanis Alanis Alanis
